All reports are written in plain English and follow guidelines from the RICS, Pyramus & Thisbe Society, IWFM and Academy of Experts as relevant.

Our team of Building Surveyors, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers and Facilities Managers provide a service tailored to take the stress away from clients. The team at Acres have experience on a wide range of projects in a number of sectors with a combined experience in excess of 100 years. Our ethos is to provide ‘Simple Surveying Solutions’ to a client’s problem.
Tony Isbell
Director
BSc (hons), FRICS, CIWFM,
CSSW, CSDV, MAE, MPTS
Tony is a Chartered Building Surveyor, with over 30 years’ experience in surveying and inspecting a wide range of property types.
His unique experience as client, contractor, consultant and auditor affords a deeper understanding of the different aspects required to undertake work within any given sector.
From Stock Condition Surveys, to Party Wall Awards and Expert Witness Reports, Tony is well versed on the inspection and repair of properties as well as compiling 5 to 30-year Cyclic Maintenance Schedules for managing maintenance, repair and construction contracts. He especially enjoys the challenge of carrying out Technical Due Diligence surveys.
CSSW, CSDV, MAE, MPTS

Isabell Virnau
Facilities Specialist
(MIWFM)
Member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management, Isabell has over 20 years’ experience
and is a specialist in Facilities Management.
While her focus is soft services management, she has also been involved in looking after Mechanical and Electrical maintenance contracts, security, grounds and mailroom provision.
Looking after the UK head office of a global imaging company with responsibility for satellite sites, has allowed her to work closely with procurement and compliance teams, giving her a good understanding of both functions, which she utilises to the client’s benefit.

Alastair Barnes
Surveyor
Alastair has over 40 years’ experience working
in a number of different capacities covering property related services and facilities management.
These services have included project management, property acquisitions, property disposals, dilapidation claims, property maintenance, building refurbishments, building fit-outs, annual budgets-, as well as internal/external moves and changes.
His overall experience and understanding of property portfolios, offers a broad and unique insight into
a wide range of property services to both building and facilities managers.
Alastair has over 40 years’ experience working

Emma Hegedus
Project Coordinator
BA (hons), MSc
Emma is an experienced project coordinator with an MSc in Management from Bath University and 10 years’ experience in the
built environment.
She has worked for a wide range of companies across several industries, including Aerospace, Mining, Executive Search and Software Design.
Her previous roles include Office Manager at a software start up and project coordinator at a small design and build company before joining Acres Building Consultants.
Emma is an experienced project coordinator with an MSc in Management from Bath University and 10 years’ experience in the
built environment.

Roger Branton
Quantity Surveyor
Roger is skilled in all aspects of quantity surveying, including contract administration and project management.
Roger has over 50 years' experience with a wide variety of clients including:
Government Departments, Local Authorities, Housing Associations, national and international private development agencies and major contractors.

Ryan Isbell
Architecture / Design
BA (hons)
Ryan graduated with a First Class,
BA (Hons) in Architecture from
the University of Kent in 2020.
He has since worked for a large London based Architecture firm, as well as in the film industry, in set design at Shepperton Studios.
Ryan worked alongside Tony Isbell on a number of expert witness surveys, applying his understanding of building structures and servicing to help identify detailing issues and propose practical, case-specific solutions.
Alongside his work with Tony, Ryan has also worked for a local Surrey-based design and build firm as a designer and onsite project coordinator for high-end residential projects in Southern England.
Ryan approaches design and construction coordination with a robust attention to detail and an energetic enthusiasm to translate the design team’s innovative concepts into practical on site solution propositions.
Ryan graduated with a First Class,
